Free Core Web Vitals Checker
Enter a URL. We pull live Google PageSpeed data — LCP, INP, CLS, plus the full opportunities list — and grade each metric against Google's thresholds.
Want it in your inbox?
A senior strategist will email a written read of what your output means, plus a free one-domain audit. We don't sell the list. We don't pre-load a sequence.
Three steps. About a minute end to end.
- 01
Enter your URL
Any public URL. We test mobile by default — that is what Google ranks on.
- 02
Wait for PageSpeed
A real Lighthouse run on Google's infrastructure, plus 28-day field data from the Chrome User Experience Report when available.
- 03
Read the grades
LCP under 2.5s = good. INP under 200ms = good. CLS under 0.1 = good. Anything else needs work.

What are Core Web Vitals?
Three Google-defined metrics that quantify real-user experience. LCP (Largest Contentful Paint) measures load speed. INP (Interaction to Next Paint, which replaced FID in March 2024) measures responsiveness. CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) measures visual stability. All three are confirmed Google ranking signals.
What is a good LCP?
Under 2.5 seconds is good. 2.5-4 seconds needs improvement. Over 4 seconds is poor. Most LCP issues trace to heavy hero images, render-blocking JavaScript, or slow server response times.
What is a good INP?
Under 200 milliseconds is good. 200-500ms needs improvement. Over 500ms is poor. INP is dominated by JavaScript execution time on the main thread — usually third-party scripts (analytics, chat widgets, A/B testing tools).
What is a good CLS?
Under 0.1 is good. 0.1-0.25 needs improvement. Over 0.25 is poor. CLS is almost always caused by images without dimensions, dynamically injected ads, or web fonts loading after first paint.
Is lab data or field data better?
Field data (CrUX) is what Google actually uses for rankings — it reflects real visitors on real devices and networks. Lab data (Lighthouse) is reproducible and useful for debugging. Pass both and you are safe.
